SM33.  I've used it for ulcers but it's suppose to be good for inflamed gums aswell.

the nurofen says to only take maximum 6 capsules every 24 hrs, panamax says the same, should i only be taking 6 all up or can i take 6 of each? i normally wont touch painkillers for anything but this is getting abit much

OOH the pain of it.  How long have you been chewing the nurofen & panamax/panadol?  I know they are the medications that my dentist recommends (the one I work with).  Here's hoping the morning comes quickly so that you can visit the dentist to relieve your pain. He may offer Antibiotics and a chance to sort the problem out a bit later on.

I  couldn't be sure that sm33 would work on this TA by the sound of it:)

No need to hate the dentist cause he's the one who can fix your problem. (I agree with hating his bill at the end of treatment though).

cheers rellbell

GEt 2 the dentist ASAP.

You have probably picked up a secondary infection in the gum as well if its a molar/pre molar (know pain from experience).

Straight Scotch.  Sugars in bundy/beer wont be helping either!!

Do you ever go fishing?

ou must have a couple metres of old fishing line around the house,

tie to tooth, slam the front door, sit down, drink rum, view myswag, no problem.

$50 consultation fee.

Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

You can buy 'toothache drops' over the counter at the chemist. Very similar to clove oil only specifically designed for your purpose.

I've used that product - soak a bit of cotton wool ball in it and jam it into the cavity, 20 minutes later no pain, and good for 6-8 hours. Tastes a bit like petrol though, but that goes away.

Same problem. Went to my dentist, refilled and thought problem solved. Nope it got worse so back to dentist and one referral later I went to the Endodontist. Sure Wayne we can fix that but it will be next week and it will cost you, wait for it, $2775 for a Root canal. DOH! No thanks  I will get it pulled. Forgot to mention another 2000 for a crown.
