weren't they all saying they've not seen any drop in performance? not that I want to find out

and I do hate the weight of the glass ones - wish the 'flexible' ones weren't so expensive...

I'd be very very surprised if a smashed panel did not suffer a considerable drop in performance , I have seen about 10-12 over the past 2 years and all suffered 40% or more reduction.

But your right not something worth testing  ;D ;D

Nobody's said there was no drop in performance, but there was mention that "others" had made that claim.
Theo's correct. My repaired 100w panel will do 3.5A, about the same as a 60 watter.

I couldn't imagine they wouldn't suffer in some form - I thought I was going to discover how broken glass affected mine after a storm one afternoon - arrived home to find one panel blown off the shed roof (they only lay there in the off season) but aside from a slightly damaged gland it was fine. lucky I guess
