I just got home and am soo happy!! Towed like a dream! I did the speed limit all the way, maybe occasionally over
Towing behind my 100 Series Cruiser
We have a few things to do on the trailer and 4by tomorrow and then will be off for a week camping
Hubby so excited that today he decided to take a week off for camping - yay.
So we will fiddle with a few things while out bush. we don't know anything about the solar panels, but I need to buy a battery tomorrow. I need the Deep Cycle gel ones don't I know? 100 to 120 amp? Anything else I need to know? Or is there another option? We have the diesel generator my hubby uses for work. It is the quieter kind, but not the SUPER quiet kind. I now some people have talked about Thumpers etc, which is the best way? We want to eventually run a fridge, LED lights and occasionally charge laptop, DS's, phones etc.
I have spoken to Trackabout the zip and what AWESOME service!!!! I really DO feel like one of THE FAMILY! AWESOME isn't a big enough word for the friendly, effeciant service they have. I have been given a couple ideas re the zip. Suggestions the same as earlier posts from myself and members and to also check the actual 'zip pull thingy' to check it is closed far enough. I also want the travel cover to be heightened, for more room storage and so I can pack up the camper without adjusting the telescopic poles above the bed.
The holes in the flyscreen are only microscopic, but I just don't want them getting bigger. I will take a pic tomorrow to show the size, so that I can do the best treatment. I did notice this morning that there is a few pin hole sized holes in the canvas walls. Is there such a thing as a glue that can be applied over this?
I am so impressed by the quality of Trackabout. Just looking at them you can see the quality is there. We are looking forward to some quality family times together in our Trackabout and cannot thank JT enough for manufacturing these trailers.
I suppose I should start a new thread in the My Camper Trailer section
and I will post some pics
I am SO proud!
Cheers
Tam
Anyways, I better
