Ok,looks like the Fiamma gets the nod with the sun buster shade cloth.if we want to go annexe at at later date we will get local canvas man to do the job!

I've just noticed another option on Teabags rig that I'd overlooked.
Stone guard
Again not a Jayco option.
What are most other Jayco users using for a stone guard??
Im thinking the front of Hawk will be looking fairly sand blasted without one.

When I just have the awning out I use the anti flap kit and it doesn't move. I an really happy with it.

Is it a Fiamma anti-flap kit?

On Teabags point, I also put gas outlets on the Jayco, I have two one on each side.  My idea was that I could have the Weber on one side and perhaps a stand alone gas hot water and shower tent on the other side.
That is how we currently set up. Is easy when not close to water to be able to take the shower to the water rather than cart water back to the camper.

After checking out Teabags camper I can't work out why Jayco have moved the gas bottles to inside the front boot. I'm hoping Jayco will move them back to the front of boot.
It shouldn't be that big a job should it?
Im not that keen on modifying myself mainly for warranty problems.

It doesn't look like there would be much room on the draw bar for the bottles now that the larger front boot is on these, unless they have a longer drawbar, or you order one with a 300mm extended draw bar. Have you looked around for a runout 2010 model hawk? IMO, I'm not that sold on the 'porta potty' look at the front of the 2011 jaycos  ???  horses for courses I guess.

LOL @ 'port a potty'
I didn't know the Hawk could be optioned with a crapper on board.

Mate if I could get a 2010 with a extended draw bar I'd snap it up.
I need the extended draw bar because I'm a keen fisherman and like to take a 3.75 m dinghy
away with us. I carry the boat up on the canopy of the hilux and the boat sticks out the back of the vehicle a bit.
Without the extended draw bar I couldn't open the bed of the camper without unhitching  because it would hit the boat if that makes sense! Bit of a pain in he arse.

My Jayco dealer reckons no extended draw bar 2010 models are available.
