Wow that ball from Johnson that hit vijay whilst he was on 63 was a bit of Déjà vu
Here for a good time, not a long time!

I noticed Kohli spicing things up in the end of day press conference - perhaps probably should have left it on the field. Especially when your side is 2-0 down in a 4 Test series.

I think he may have just painted a target on himself for the rest of the summer.

It is very easy to shoot your mouth off after scoring a hundred on a flat road.

I've made no secret that I can't stand Glenn 'The Big Show' Maxwell... More often he should be called 'The No Show'...

Anyway, his 1st ball effort in the big bash tonight made me smile...

It was a shocker

Maxwell suffers most embarrassing dismissal ever
http://www.news.com.au/sport/cricket/glenn-maxwells-run-of-twenty20-outs-continues-after-shouldering-arms-to-be-clean-bowled/story-fng7sibl-1227168764376

Some sense from AB on Watto

Shane Watson is frustrating his fans, writes Allan Border
http://www.foxsports.com.au/cricket/australia/australia-v-india-2014-shane-watson-is-frustrating-his-fans-writes-allan-border/story-fn2mcu3x-1227167268116

Next week will be the 10-year anniversary of Watto’s Test debut, way back in 2005.

In a decade of Test cricket he only has four centuries at a batting average of 35.

There have been bursts of good form but the consistency of performance that you really want just hasn’t been there.

Not a bad read about Andrew Flintoff

http://www.foxsports.com.au/cricket/andrew-flintoff-reflects-on-fascinating-cricket-journey-with-robert-craddock/story-e6frf3g3-1227168127938

Was never a fan of his when he was smashing us, but he's been good with the big bash commentary. 1000% better than Andy Maher.....

43 was always going to be way too high.

That well composed 17 will cement his place in the Ashes squad though.

The 50 he got ten tests ago would have done that.  They seem to be of the opinion that they will never drop him.

Sad really. If they picked everyone on talent rather than results then Funky Miller would have played 200 tests. Shaun Marsh will play forever!

Burns 13 in the first innings 9 in the second.
I hadn't heard about him before he got his baggy green. Is he worth persevering with?

The same could be argued about Watson yet still he gets a game I don't think one test is enough to see how someone will go Michael Hussey first test innings made 1 then 29 so not many more than Burns has done I this test what if they had never played him again. Now in relation to the start of my comment I would cheer Watson out of the side with most of Australia I would be happy to see new players get a go in the hope one of them will replace him.

sure is.  he's a queenslander!

give him as many tests as watson has had and he'll average 50...

A good day it will be, thought about it myself, but good days turn into good nights, and I'll end up in some Greek joint breaking plates at 0200, so will stay home and tune in on the radio.

After play has finished you should rock on over to Etihad and watch the Big Bash.
