No, I'm saying they were so crap at cricket for so long that most people lost interest in the sport.

England has never handed over the Ashes, you know that right? Lol

For the Cricketers amongst us or those that are just loving the Pom's in pain.

Q. What is the height of optimism?
A. An English batsman applying sunscreen.

Q. What does Ashley Giles put in his hands to make sure the next ball almost always takes a wicket?
A. A bat.

Q. What would Glen McGrath be if he was an Englishman?
A. An all-rounder.

Q. What advantage do Kevin Pieterson, Andrew Strauss and Geraint Jones have over the rest of their team-mates?
A. At least they can say they're not really English.

Q. What do you call an Englishman with 100 runs against his name?
A. A bowler.

Q. What is the most proficient form of footwork displayed by English batsmen?
A. The walk back to the pavilion.

Only when the Poms are losing, I think there is some around about the Poms doctoring the pitches last series though ;-)

Yes I know, I am a numpty when it comes to the web.
How do I see the results for the 4th match, without the complications.
Just got home, I assume we won, but can't find a score card.
Help please ?

I assume we won

We even gave them a start and the Poms still embarrassed themselves.

If Australia had won the toss and bowled, we'd still be batting now anyway as the poms would be all out already.

Might have been a good toss to loose, looks like there is a bit in the wicket. Hopefully square turn in the 4th innings!

Australia 5/201 (52.0) at tea, what a difference a session makes, Haddin and Smith doing it with ease, partnership 104 Runs From 143 Balls (R/R: 4.36)

Warner got the ball of the day ! Ok he missed it ! Rodgers was unlucky! The ball could have gone any where ! BUT Watto !! Same old ! Ugly ! And Baily ! Well leave him in hit and giggle ,not cut out for test cricket !!!!   So we have the old man Haddin saving another first innings ! Ably assisted by the lad who everyone recently said " why is he in the team" well I ask the same about the top four !   This team is going to get a rude awakening in South Africa !!!

75 from Haddin... Another great innings, just when the Aussies needed it. If Mitch wasnt on fire, then you would think that Haddin would have to be player of the series.

The best player for England this series - a Kiwi. Breaks the tradition for their best player being South African!

Interesting quote

There is a great stat doing the rounds saying the first innings aggregate in this Commonwealth Bank Ashes series has Australia's bottom 5 wickets outscoring the top 5 wickets by 362 runs! Brad Haddin has a lot of credit for that.
