How much??

The low low price of $295 plus all the BS charges they charge for tickets. But I was always going to go no matter the price, who knows if the 50 over game will last long enough to see another world cup in Australia again.

Tickets to the Australia v England pool game I am going to were $65 I think.

Injuries aren't great, but gives opportunities to others. Feel for Marsh, he was just looking like the goods.

Another classy innings from Watto. 25 skillful runs just when we needed them.

Has there ever been a better number three for Australia?

Also, who replaces him? If Shaun Marsh comes good after getting dropped maybe him at 3, Jimmy Faulkner at 6. Then find another to replace the injured Mitch Marsh. Maybe Doolan

because he's a card-carrying knob, that's why:

http://www.foxsports.com.au/cricket/australia/australia-v-india-2014-shane-watson-given-gleeful-send-off-after-another-frustrating-mid-range-score/story-fn2mcu3x-1227161006098

he's the first one to start yapping when things are going well for the team, but can't back it up with his own performances.

no wonder india love getting him out.

Haddin also must be close to gone. My guess is they'll probably get one more test, then blood a heap of young guys in last test in preparation for ashes tour

Tim Ludeman batted alright last night! Not sure if the test team needs a 90 odd N.O. off 40 balls but would be entertaining!!

+1.  haddin since end of ashes. 0, 9, 1, 13, 3*, 22, 0, 10, 13, 0, 14*, 6.  91 runs at 9.1

selectors can't have it both ways.  if you want a keeper who bats, then haddin sucks balls at the moment.  if you want the best keeper, that's not haddin, either.

I believe Smith's score is the highest by a first game captain...

X heaps!

I'm glad Smith has hit such form, I reckon this bloke deserved to be captain.

so far looks like the decision to make him captain is paying off...

And I must say that everyone seems to like him including the public. With Clarke I was not sure how he got on with "all" the players but he certainly didn't have the all the public on his side..

Kohli got 141 in his first game as Indian Captain last week,  But top effort by Steven Peter Devereux Smith.
