Trip Now Full (some more added)
« on: September 30, 2010, 05:02:53 PM »
I would like to take everyone up to the Cape but it is impossible due to numbers so I have put up the list from the first members who signed up as this is the only fair way to do it. The list totals 21 any more and it would be a nightmare in getting people in to places. If any of these members need to pull out I can add another member on the list.

I have done this so other people do not put their name down. A full roll call will be done mid December.

I had 38 people who put their name down and it would be impossible to get that many cars and campers into twin falls, Dulhunty etc. This does not stop the others from going. The idea was for people to enjoy the trip not being held up and throwing the intinerary way out. Again apologies but it takes alot of orgainising to get cars across the tracks, allowing for breakdowns, tyre repairs etc.

When I took the last group up we had 18 cars and that took some arranging to get people to places on time for them to enjoy the trip.

I will see what I can come up with to try and work out another option.

:cup: Mark, you need a medal for organising this trip.  It's a massive task to organise and co-ordinate this sort of trip, let alone a trip with this many people and campers.  Good Luck.

Cool... locked in.  Hopefully I should have a new fourbie to punish for the trip - one that has a clutch that will stay intact.

I have done a few adjustments and have added some more. WE NOW HAVE A TOTAL OF 30.

I do expect some to pull out. Once I have exact members from this group who are definates on going by December I will start the planning.

We will split up into 2 groups. Please be aware this is the biggest group I have ever arranged so I will do my best to fit everyone into places.

Some will see places on the way back.

Well done Mark.  The Richos and Heustons from the Hunter Valley NSW are counting the days down to June 2011.  We have all (four of us) submitted our leave requests which have been approved so we are four definites... unless something untoward occurs.

Was thinking that we should book our Cairns accommodation soon and was wondering where you suggest? We are leaving Singleton around Sunday 17 June for a fast trip to Cairns where we want to just hang around until the 25th.

Cheers!

Hi lyn

The best place would be Lake placid caravan park as it is central to everything.
