Anyone knows if either the New Toyotas (Prado or LC76) or the Ineos will be at the show?

Or is there something specific you are looking for at the show?

I think most people have given up on 4wd shows for "show only discount prices" that are quite often more than normal retail.

I went to see the Ineos and was not overly impressed with it.
Still prefer my LC76 any day of the week.

Agree, the discount is the same as the normal retail price for a few items.

Mosied in on Saturday and ran into a few old Myswaggers wandering around.

Wasn’t looking for anything specific but was intrigued by the increase in tech products for 4wd’ing & camping. Induction cooking, led lights, power management  systems.  Somewhat the way of the future (that hopefully might see the demise of noisy smelly generators)

Improved storage system displays was interesting.

Am in the market for a new quick set tent so bit disappointed there wasn’t much on display as most of the focus was on swags & roof top tents. Also surprised to find the Dometic air inflatable gazebo & tent wasn’t much lighter than metal framed units.

Would have loved to see the new model Prado but either wasn’t there or missed it.

Air tents are quite popular here in the UK but their big disadvantage compared to metal poles is the weight and bulk. Cars tend to be smaller here so the bulk can be the deciding factor.

My mum has an air pole awning for her caravan because it’s so easy to put up. She’s in her mid 80’s and can’t manage metal frames any more.

We are planning to go to the show in Perth, looking at some roof top tents.
Haven't been to theseshows for years asthey are all the same every year.

I bought a 23 Zero double swag and have been really happy with it.   Mattress is super comfortable and the quality of construction of everything else seems really good.     Definitely a brand I'd recommend.

As I only have the use of one arm, those soft tops are out.
I am looking at the hard shell tents, and preferably without the need to use those poles for the fly.
Darche, OCAM and San Hima has them from memory without having to win the lottery.
