LOL......hadn’t thought of that, yes everybody has a snatch strap but how many carry a tow strap. Hopefully Brad has included an information booklet, But that means people have to read instruction.

I can see that it could work, but aren't you taking a pretty big chance of bending your jockey wheel

I made something similar about 20 years ago, mine was all metal and hooked into the towball.

It worked really well with a box trailer on sand. Its probably still in the shed somewhere, haven't had a trailer for around 10 years, but a boat is on the cards .

A shovel under the jockey wheel with the handle strapped up to the hitch does much the same jobs, takes up less room, has more than use, and is probably quite a bit cheaper?

My thoughts as well. Last bit of video shows the skid being used on the hitch. Perhaps if you wound the wheel right down it would be less likely to bend. I have a removable jockey wheel and I reckon mine would bend or rip off in the first metre if it was extended.

There is no way I'd use it with the jockey wheel, the chances of bending the pins on the folding type or shearing off the bolt on the removable type would be well up there. Then you're stuck with a heavy draw bar buried in the sand.

It might be a 1 man job getting it out, but you might need some help hitching it up again.

Yes agree you jockey wheel is at risk big time.....

I think it’s a great concept but I’m not sure about the execution/design?? As well as the concerns mentioned above about jockey wheels, in the official video it looked to start to rotate backwards but before this could happen, the camera angle/focus changed (29 second mark)

When I purchased the Kimberley Kamper years ago I also picked up this very solidly built contraption that bolted through the Treg hitch which was rotated 90 degrees, and then towed by a shackle that was attached. It has a thick steel almost hemispherical ball that slides along the ground. Carried the thing for thousands of K's and never used it.

I don't carry a hi-lift jack and often wondered how I would get the drawbar up again after having it down on it's nose. I have often thought about donating to the collection of stuff in the garage and saving a bit of weight, but then figure it might be needed on the next trip.
