Mt. Caernarvon Track
Caernarvon Track is the highest self drive 4WD track in the Northern Flinders Ranges and located on The Bunkers Conservation Reserve.
The 4WD track takes you to the top of Mt Caernarvon (931m) and provides spectacular 360 degree views of the Flinders Ranges.
Four other lookouts provide far reaching views of The Bunkers Conservation Reserve and the surrounding countryside.
You will be supplied with an informative guide that details;

The Caernarvon Track is on one of the most rugged sections of the Flinders Ranges.

Things You Should Know:
- Trip Leader: We will let you know who the trip leader is closer to the time
- Limit of 10 vehicles + Trip Leader. You can nominate yourself to go on this trip by saying so below.
- Departing Saturday from Rawnsley entrance road at 8.45am for an 9am departure
- We will be using UHF 21
- $60 track fee payable upon arrival at the Ranger’s office
- High clearance 4wd’s with low range and with AT (all terrain) tyres with LT (light truck) construction – passenger rated tyres just don’t survive!
- You will need an air compressor to air up your tyres at completion of track
- This is a full day tour so you will need to bring your morning tea and lunch with you
