Hi from the Sunshine Coast
« on: May 28, 2018, 07:55:48 PM »
I found the forum and now I haven't seen my wife and kids for a while - I've been too engrossed in all the excellent posts, builds and advice here. Wife says, "Not another #%*^ forum!" because I'm already on the Hiluix and the XT660 (motorbike) forums.

Been camping most of my 48 years, mainly in tents but had a long stint with a Bush Hopper soft floor camper trailer that was very basic but I modded with slide-out kitchen etc. I've camped with a lot of different folks and seen their various set-ups and have a fair idea of what I'd like and not like. In fact, like probably 90% of you on here, I harbour desires to build my own. I reckon I have a kick-ass design that is quite different to anything else I've seen - but lack the facilities to actually build it. Ease of set-up and a hard roof over a pre-made bed are my key must-haves.

In the meantime, I really like the look of the Breakaway Ultra so would love to hear reviews from those who actually own and use one. Cheers!
