Online OS Truck Part Suppliers?
« on: February 27, 2018, 05:50:37 PM »
Hi ya Swaggers.
This may be hard to beleive, but we here in Aus are being ripped orf by car part suppliers, the genuine parts folk.
There are places OS for Japanses car parts and are very good, I have used both of these firms with great suscess many times.

https://www.amayama.com/en

https://partsouq.com/

They give a faster delivery time and cheaper then the Aussie Car Yards can.

Has anyone come across a company they can recommend for Japanese truck parts. I'm not finding anything as yet.

Have used both of those many times. I tend to use partsouq more often. Can't help you with the Jap truck stuff though.

I thought best to update this as I have a result, which I am hoping to be a good result.
It turns out that Amayama are able to supply the parts, just not the parts book to check the numbers against, I had to do a sneaky and find the numbers from the local Mitsubishi guys who gave the best price they could do at $2,100, and from Amayama it is $960.
Parts on the way.
JUST HOPE THEY ARE CORRECT  ;D

We are ripped off on car parts like we are on lots of things. I have a Ford Ranger. Ripped the rear mudflap off and needed the plastic plugs to fit it back on. Ford wanted $16 each for a small plastic clip. Think I got 25 for $8 delivered. Damaged the plastic trim on the rear passenger door and was going to replace it. Ford quoted $40 for the rear driver side and $80 for the passenger side. Why the difference in price for a similar item? Because it was the one I wanted.
