Definitely depends on the store.  Two local Anaconda stores and neither of them would price match for two different reasons.  One said the product was different as the competitor included a cover and stand so it was a package and they only match on an individual product.  Other store checked the "actual" competitor website and that was not updated with the special price.  Showed them the Ebay site that listed the physical retail store down the road from them and could pick up.  Nope, not on their website, no price match.

Thought about arguing the point but couldn't be bothered.  Even the salesperson at both stores agreed I was correct and it should be matched but was overruled by their manager.

Not in a hurry for the fridge so will just wait for a price to come up that I'm happy with.

Al.
I'd still buy it elsewhere and go tell em you bought it elsewhere cause they are ****tards.

I got an 80ltr waeco from the  Anaconda next to Ikea Logan for 900 and something dollars;  (don't exactly recall - but the price was well south of a K)...

This was done via a beat the competitors price; (Rays, Brown Plains); by 10% deal ...Anaconda checked the Rays price - then did the cut....

Very happy about that outcome......

Alrighty the fridge issue has been sorted - went with a Waeco CFX 40.  Bought a new one as decided the warranty would be worth it over the second hand savings.  First new to me fridge I have ever had so pretty stoked with it and have already given in a run camping over the weekend with the kids.  Beer stayed cold and had enough room to take some food, job done!
