Camper trailer

Hi we have 3 young boys. We are wanting to buy a camper trailer to travel around im thinking a 9 ft camper be interested in what other families hav found worked best for them regarding room setup and how they made it all work ect ect

G,Day and welcome Jutta..
Thinking while a 9' soft floor should  be reasonable easy to handle, it might leave you a bit crowded with little floor space, by the time you put a couple of bunks and a small single stretcher  in there .
Our old camper had an 8' x 7' floor space and with two  stretchers, It didnt leave much space, but for us it was comfortable enough for two week trips [ even with 5 odd days of wet weather ] and would have worked for us on extended trips ...
It realy depends on how little or more gear you need to take and how good you are at organising it, If you are able it might pay to get along to sales yard / show or hire a few different campers to get a better feel of what space you need .

what the said... we have 12ft tent and 2 kids and occasionally a friend which means it gets cramped inside with bags and people.

There are only 1000 makes/models on the market, and each one suits different people... you will get 1000 opinions.  What works for some wont work for others.

What budget?
What sort of camping? Day trips/weekends/weeks/months/years?
Base camping? or overnighters
What car you towing with?
Must haves?

What have you looked at so far? Have you hired any to see what works for you?

all it needs is a trailer to bolt it on to (preferable with a hinge)! we bought the original when GIC were selling them, love it so much when we saw one of these second hand (one weekend's use, then sadly the couple broke up) we made the trip to albury for it - it now sits on our box trailer ready for the old one to give up totally which it hasn't even after five years in all weather including gales (properly roped down of course!)
