Hello everyone, I would greatly appreciate your feedback and expert advice about what you think would be the best camper for our family.
We are heading off on an around Oz trip late 2017, we have been researching forums etc for years and have checked out a few shows in Tassie (although the brands available to view are limited).
We have our car topper boat, bought it last week,(Mako Craft, topper trakker) our family is all mad keen on fishing, thus we would like our camper to meet the following criteria:
Hold a car topper boat
Fit a family of 5
quick and easy set up
Be able to fit all of us to sleep for quick overnight stays without setting up extra rooms/tents
Hard floor
At least 3 burner stove top
Good seals for dust
Imported or Aussie made (the imported ones just seem to be getting things better every year)
What type of shower/toilet to use, with the view on space and weight we need these to not be excessive!
Questions for the forum would be do you think we need an ensuite? What campers do you think are suitable? What is essential and what can we do without?
We will also be homeschooling our kids aged who will be 8,6 and 4 when we are travelling, plus doing some work every few days on our business, thus we thought the hard floor would be good to set up an 'office/study area when we are in the one spot for a few days!
We are planning on going to the Melbourne camper show in October to check out some campers.
Some campers we like so far are Mountain Trail EDX, Rhinomax Warrior, Aussie Swag
(expensive but good), Cub campers, Emu dessert series (imported but they seem to be getting better and better), Phoenix Black Series!!Thanks so much, we appreciate the feedback.
Thanks a million, Kristy
