Public weighbridges Gold Coast
« on: October 03, 2016, 09:21:07 AM »
G'day all

Anybody know of a public weighbridge on the GC, preferably Southern end?

Just put our CT through the Council weighbridge at Reedy Creek dump & think I need to get a second opinion, as the trailer that I thought was going to be just under 700kg, supposedly came in at 980kg !!!  :o :o :o

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Graeme

Yeah thanks Bird.

Tried that & the only result was the bridge that I used & appears to be 300kg off  >:(

Try some of the trailer places, I'm sure they all have scales you could use for some $ as they would need to weigh em before selling.

Or at least know where an accurate Bridge can be located near by.

Plenty of camper trailer weight in over there stated weights.....I think some manufacturers just stamp them with out actually weighing them.

I'd be surprised if the Council weigh Bridge is out.....
