Hi Brian,

I have a Challenge Outback camper. I think it is about a 2009 model.

I just moved it tonight from home out to my new shed. We have a 14'6" tent & 8' annexe + walls so it has a lot of canvas.

We have had it for about 3 years and haven't had any dramas.

I see a few getting around SA, Our family has 5 x Challenge Outbacks + a few of my parents friends have them as well.

Cheers,
Pete.

Hi Brian, we also have a Meridian walk in, 2" lift and electric brakes. Only got it recently so did a trip to Batemans Bay & Jervis Bay in it. Loved it!! Used a mates Outback last year from Melbourne to Lakes Entrance, Omeo, Bright and home again. Performed flawlessly. They are very good quality and tow really well.

We have a Challenge Meridian and love it... 12 ft tent = lots of space for our gear and the Jack Russell! We don't use the annex unless somewhere for a number of days and have, during quick overnight stops,  just taken to rigging a tarp over the kitchen area if it looks like a bit of rain around.  This trailer has been across the Gibb River Road, up to Cape leveque, down the Tanami Road, numerous trips to Kings Canyon/Alice Springs area, from Byron Bay to Steep Point through the heart of Aus, back across the Nullabor, up the East coast and most recently over to the Flinders Ranges.  Not to mention all the quick weekends away around Vic.  The camper has come through it all magnificently.
The staff at Challenge Campers have been fantastic whenever we have had a query or question about the camper and we can't recommend then or their product highly enough.
I think we will be keeping ours until too old to climb onto the bed!

Had it built like that so waited a while. Runs really well behind the truck.

G'day Brian,

I have a Meridian-cross-deluxe walk-in as well, except for the four jerry holders at the front.

Great piece of kit and recommend to all who ask. They after sales service has been fantastic. We are getting away on Friday for the first time since moving to Melbourne from Tassie and looking forward to it.

An 2010 picture at trailer is

Would love to see details/photos of the slide out swinging fridge tray.

Thanks

Pre our camper/caravan purchases  I've hired a few Challenge campers and that's what we had intended to purchase, prior to deciding that the Jayco suited our needs better at the time,
The Challenge was a great trailer back then, so I'm guessing they are even better now
