Hello all,

We are heading off on our 2 year trip towards the end of this year and are currently looking at a Kimberley platinum. We have 2 kids (4&7) that will sleep on the floor on stretchers.

Have any other families done the same thing with a Kimberley or hard floor kamper? We think that at the end of the day we would only use the inside for sleeping mostly anyway.

thoughts?

What about that hybrid thing Lifestyle make for less than $30k. Plus 2 I think it's called.

We had a KK for 6 years and loved it. With the full Annex set up there is heaps of undercover space to get out of the rain if staying somewhere for a bit longer.

As to whether or not you could live in the camper for two years - only you can make that decision.

I had a canvass bag made for all the walls etc, for the extended trips it lived on the roof tray so that it was out of the way, and I would only get it down if I was really made to.
