Need help what camper??

Just after some opinions on campers. Me and my partner are after a preferably hard floor but not too heavy around 20-25 thousand mark. Will be towing it with a 01 hilux turbo deisel ute. Any help much apreciated as we are only pretty new to the camper trailer game. Cheers

I have a CUB for sale, where are you located. Cheaper then the 20-25 you mentioned.

Have a look at Pioneer Campers, I haven't had any other campers to compare it to, but it works well for what I do.

had an 03 aussie swag with independent suspension and slide out kitchen, real awsome bit of gear just a tad small for a family of 4, but a lot of aussie swags around for that price range.

Cant go past a CUB.

Mine is 23 years old, but still functioning perfectly.
We looked at a new one before xmas, but apart from some more modern amenities, its the same basic outfit.
Even the metal frame setup is identical.

We also saw a new forward fold, these were great, but outside our price bracket, closer to yours.

Finally the Avan is another great camper and it can be packed up wet without serious issues.

Not much help I guess, but be open with your choice, the perfect camper will be found in time.

If you can stretch a little further the Australian made Patriot X2 comes in at 29k and would beat most campers hands down.

I have a good quality Aussie made soft floor for sale if you'd be interested. It's tough as nails, but lightweight, easy to tow, easy to setup and will go anywhere.
I'll even deliver it to bundy for you.
And you'll have a big wad of money left over for other stuff.

There are many camper styles and brands because there are many different camper owner's with differing wants and needs, only you will really know what they are, having a look in the flesh at different trailers is a good way to clarify this in your mind and if you can get to a decent camping show it saves you running around and allows you to easily go back and forth to compare. If you can hire ones before hand to try it helps to clarify what you want even more. Narrowing down what you want will allow you to ask more specific questions to help with you decision making and help contain people's inner salesman trying to convince you that their trailer they are selling is right for you.

The majority of hard floor campers will blow past your 180 k.g. max ball weight. I had an '03 lux and ran into the same issues.

It would probably help narrow the field if you could let us know what kind of camping you plan on doing on/off road, beach, short stays, long stays or touring ect.
Also make a list of what you need/want/don't want. That way you can simply tick and cross campers off based on spec sheets. Also don't disregard 2ndhand.
