Fraser Island- Rainbow Beach Conditions.
« on: May 13, 2015, 05:09:15 PM »
Just a heads up, apparently Mudlo Rocks are back to their old tricks, with 3 4WD's getting swamped on the week-end.
(I haven't seen the rocks myself, this a report i'd been told about.... ok)
One copped three high tides before it was retrieved.

Anyway, if ya gunna run the tides on the way to Fraser or Rainbow, work with the tides.

OH, I've booked perfect conditions for the Nat Meet, so no probs then, only now.   ;D

Anyone heading up there for this long weekend, the sand is soft, very very soft ;D

There were lots of recoveries this last weekend and lots of wankers with attempting the impossible with hwy tyre pressures  ::)

Hopefully it'll rain between now and then.

Hows the fishing Shane ?

Was the first weekend off in about 6 months, so I spent most of it sitting on my arse watching wave after wave go plop on the beach.

Spent abou an hour with #1 daughter chasing whiting to use as live bait, but abandoned that mission due to the dart.

Going back up this weekend, so will put in an effort then, maybe  8)

Heading up to Fraser in 3 weekends time towing the camper and with additional camping gear for the extra 2 adults that will be on board from interstate. Sounds like it might be an interesting drive.
