Set at the foot of the majestic Cockburn Range, Home Valley Station is the perfect location for those travelling the Gibb River Road to base themselves while touring the Kimberley region.
Be it throwing out a swag for an evening under the stars or setting up camp for an extended stay - Home Valley Station invites everyone to enjoy the region's best and most extensive camping facilities.
We have powered and non-powered sites, with new and clean bathrooms, hot showers and flush toilets, fresh water, laundry facilities and lots of shade. Home Valley Station is regarded as the best camping location along the Gibb River Road.
With more than three million acres of wilderness to explore, Home Valley Station invites you to settle in and discover the real Australia.
Those wanting to be close to the Station action can camp on the Homestead grounds, close to the famous Dusty Bar & Grill, Station Store, and refreshing lagoon-style pool and free entertainment most nights on stage in the Dusty Bar or around the campfire.
Home Valley Station also provides camping at our Pentecost River Bush Camp, 4km from the Homestead, overlooking the mighty Pentecost River to the Cockburn Range. This picture perfect location is a must-see for all campers seeking the ultimate getaway. The River Camp is famous for its stunning sunsets over the Cockburn Range and abundance of wildlife and excellent fishing spots. This area also offers new bathroom facilities and shelters, exactly like the Homestead campground
We never had the chance to visit here due it being closed when we went past.
I will advise if we need to book certain sites or just turn up and people can choose where they wish to camp.
