We’ve just received our Camel Campers - Bushman Extreme camper back today. To say we’re impressed is an understatement. The service and professionalism provided by Camel has been absolutely outstanding. We were impressed with the quality of their campers and they’ve given us absolute confidence in their ability to stand by their product.
We made the decision to buy a Camel camper because it was Australian made, had an industry leading 5 yr warranty, and had a national presence with an agent in NSW. We felt that should anything go wrong they’d be there to support us.
Just after purchasing the camper we had an issue with the paint (they had only just the week prior changed paint suppliers). Once I told Don in Sydney he was right on it, he sent the trailer straight back to the Brisbane factory for assessment. They insisted that I had paid for a premium product and wanted to ensure that’s what I received.
Camel were fantastic, they didn’t cut corners, they didn’t make excuses, they didn’t make it my problem, in fact they went above and beyond what was required. They could have tried to go for a quick easy fix but instead took ownership and insisted it needed to be done right, and wanted to ensure the process was not a stressful one for us. There was not one heated conversation throughout the entire process, and they never backed away and always answered our calls. They decided to build us another complete camper trailer as an act of good will. Absolutely outstanding!! So glad we bought a true Aussie made camper from CAMEL!!
All I can say we bought an Aussie made camper for a reason, their quality trailers have been around for 20 years and with quality trailers and service like we’ve experienced they deserve to be around for another 20+ years.
Throughout the entire process we were regularly updated on the progress of the camper. On visiting Brisbane they arranged and paid for a hire car for the day to come up and see the trailer being built in the factory. To actually see the stages of development and what goes into making a trailer was amazing. We got the paint upgraded to 2 pack polyurethane, and the new trailer also benefited from numerous additional refinements they’d recently incorporated in to recent models, it has visibly made a difference to its ease of use. Great Job guys!!
Our Bushman Extreme is a dream to tow, its balanced superbly, the trailer is rock solid and has been finished to an extremely high standard and to say we are happy with our purchase is an understatement. We`re very impressed with the trailer and hope to have many happy and enjoyable camping trips away with the boys over the coming years.
Camel campers level of after sales service and support is nothing short of outstanding, its not just good, it takes great service to another level. If our experience is anything to go by you can’t go wrong with Camel! Keep up the great work guys! It makes us happy to support a great Aussie company like Camel.
