after a Fibre glass poptop maker
« on: August 18, 2015, 06:20:52 PM »
Evening , does or has anyone in the camper build project ever had a fibre glass custom pop top made to their owns spec's for one of their builds.
I have had a frame built a while ago and since coming back from a S.A great trip decided it's time to re-start the build again ( no rush job this baby )
I already have a Northstar slide-on but it's just not what we want and my design is a lighter, more out side user friendly concept with a tilting pop top lid similar to some other slide-on's on the market on the market. A Melb contact would suit as I am in Albury...much appreciated

Kanga campers in wodonga use Aliminium for the top. They might do one for you.

actually never thought about that, my design isn't out there yet, a lot of slide-on campers have great ideas and fail in certain areas, without giving too much away mine will be a double pop top where I want it to be light weight keeping the folded height as low as possible when on the vehicle and fibre glass can mould around some tricky spots around the frame, worth a chat with them as I need a canvas maker. thanks
