Excellent park, stayed there for 4 nights recently and loved it, also try the coffee shop in Wilcannia as well.  The town isnt the wild town it was many years ago and there is some great history there.  And if you need fuel go to the back street and fill up, he was 10cents a litre cheaper than the one on the main road

We spent a night at warrawong and would happily stay again. Amenities would rival the best park anywhere. Don't take the first spot next to the office though, the pet emu lives there and his constant noise through the night might only be a novelty for a while. But I enjoyed it.
Here for a good time, not a long time!

We can recommend Warrawong as well.
Wilcannia once was a place to fuel up quickly and keep going, but it is much improved.
The local golf club has huge Chinese meals and does a courtesy bus to and from Warrawong Wed- Saturday ( I think)

You still alive Gary !!   :cup:

Why do you think it's improving ?  Have they cleaned the place out.....have the locals started to behave like humans ....interesting turnaround if that's the case !
