I'm Phillip [wife Kerrie] and I'm new to this site but not to camping and the outdoors, i have been lurking in the back ground for a few months getting to know this forum, which I must say is great, full of very useful information and tips.
Over the years we have had all kinds of tent and camper trailer, both on and off road. We have recently got back into camping and have bought a '93 Cub Supermatic, its an on road as we are towing with a Skoda Octavia vRS TDi. Since purchase we have done a few mods, replaced the internal kitchen with an external slide out kitchen, fitted bigger wheels to match the car reconfigured the the bed, made side access hatches, built internal storage box where the old kitchen was, fitted a hand winch. 12 volt battery for lights
Had 3 weeks away in March to Phillip Island and back staying in free camps and caravan parks, have a few trips planed for later this year and next yea - Flinders Ranges and WA.
So that just about sums it up for us, maybe see you on the road somewhere
