Help needed for a very worthy community 'Not For Profit'
« on: May 20, 2015, 11:28:35 AM »
I am a Director, and on the Board of a Not For Profit called "Youth Excel". Please have a look at our website links below.
www.youthexcel.com.au
and www.michellemitchell.org

The Youth Excel Centre is unique.  We are a multidisciplinary clinic, which means we offer services from a range of disciplines or professions.  Our team consists of psychologists, counsellors and mentors who each offer different skills and services. Regardless of whether your young person needs a mentoring relationship, life-skills education or psychological treatment, we have the right person. We also go out to schools all over Australia giving presentations on Sexual Health & Cyber Safety, Managing Disrespect, Social Media and Sexuality, etc.

We currently have over 100 kids/families per week....we are working with, and we provide these services for those that can and can't pay, with 60% of our clients coming from the second half (can't pay).

We are looking for some help.......we need a ride on mower, petrol powered whipper snipper, and petrol blower to help mainain the clinic grounds.

If there is anyone that has any of these things, that they were thinking of getting rid of, and they are in working condition, and would be wiling to donate to a worthy cause, please contact me. It would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Mark VS

PS..The clinic is located North Brisbane

Mark. What type of whipper snipper are you chasing? If a $100 BGS Homelite will get you out of trouble I'm happy to send you the money for one. Let me know.

Robbo,
really appreciate the offer...however, I'd rather money go towards helping kids out who's families can't afford it..

Thats why I'd prefer to get 2nd hand units that people don't want....as its only for ground maintenance.

Thanks again though.

I have a homelite blower. It works fine but the fuel line has cracked. Runs perfect though and can be fixed for a $1 in fuel hose.

It is all yours if you want and if I can get to a mower or hobby shop on the weekend will replace the fuel line for you.
