went to the Rosehill camping show
« on: April 12, 2015, 06:34:24 PM »
so the wife and I went to the Rosehill camping show today.

Walked in at the camper trailer gate (good planning that is) and saw everything we wanted to see inside an hour.

Looked at the Tvan. New kitchen was on display with one model. Wife likes this one.

Looked over the Conquerors. Personally I loved the cool storage concepts. Wife was not so impressed with the multiple fold outs on the 440. If they did a similar version with sleeping for 2 (+ a dog) she may have been more impressed. All the extra foldouts just seemed like overkill for the two of us.

Checked out the Ultimates. Wife informs me that she doesn't want canvas over the main bed area. But we were blown away by how much space there is inside.

Checked out Complete Campsite. Took an immediate liking to the Exodus 9. "like a Tvan on steroids" says the wife.

We would have then checked out the Vista RV... had they actually been at the show.

Went back outside and once again found ourselves at the Tvan display.

End result. My wonderful wife has informed me that that she likes the Tvan and that I can have one.

just as soon as I can find the $$$ to pay for it.

*sigh*

it's a start.

Tell me about it Muru.  We went out yesterday and spent 3 hours drooling over the ultimate Xterra.
Silly me was the sensible one today and made the call to save some more money first while the wife was ready to sign us to any finance option that would get one in the garage.

But more saving and we'll get there!

oh yeh. LOVED the Xterra.

could not get over how much space inside it.

and the Xterra colour, totally takes away the "upside down boat on a trailer" look. (which used to be a turn off to me)
