Ivote NSW State Election

Not making this a political thread as it will turn to $hit and I don't really care about it all that much, to save time going to vote you can register to vote online at Ivote as long as you are camping interstate that is...  ;D

Sent a form away to do a postal vote, haven't got a letter yet, so went on and registered for i vote...then misplaced the 8 digit access number and the wifes didn't go thru for some reason..and when I tried to register her again, the site was busy, come back in 1/2 hr and try again !!....so stuff it, yesterday went and pre polled at a booth..

No you have to vote, but it's a secret ballot.

As I used to say to people when working as an AEC electoral official, I can't mark you off if you don't intend to vote, so take the paperwork, go in there and consider your vote.

If you don't know who to vote for, then go outside and ask the peoples from the various parties to explain to you each of there policies and how they would impact / benefit you.

What you put on the ballot paper's - that's a secret, until they are counted.

Apparently the ivote site was taken down today as there had been a stuff up with the ballet sheet were you couldn't place a vote for the outdoor party above the line, but was to  e closed by the arvo

About 10 yrs ago, I didn't want to vote for any of the scumbags, so I left the ballot paper blank......and wrote a bad swearword across the top....probably offended a counter before they threw it in the bin !!  8)
