I need some help with blogspot please...

I am putting together a blog with blogspot but need some help with some things so any advice would be grateful.

Things I need help with are:

- How do you get the posts to be in written order (so the 1st post is always up the top, second one second and so forth?)  My new posts are going up the top and the older ones get shoved down which is not what I want.
- How do I get the blog archives (or post topics) to show on the right hand side?
- How do I get a background photo happening, and different colours?

Also how do I get a website address to read Here where people can just click on the Here and it takes them to that website?

That is all for now but I am sure I will have more questions as I go.

Also I am a bit of a computer moron so step by step instructions works well for me

Windows Live Writer is an easy program to use that lets you do all your blogging off line and will do most of what you asked about you can get it from this page http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8621
Microsoft usually stuffs up really badly but this program really is brilliant
