Kids loved the day, the swing set out the back was a big hit.

Our effort for 2013.
Kids love this time of the year, great to see them putting it together.
Once the hat goes on the top, no further additions are allowed.

The kids love adding their decorations to the tree that we have collected each Christmas. Every year they go and have a photo with Santa then choose an ornament for the tree. I go all out at Christmas (regardless of whether we had kids or not) because that is what my mum was like. I love the family traditions that we pass on or start with our own families.

We only got 1/2 way today..... Tree up,lights on but decorations still in the box ???



New this year is the wife made an advent calendar to hang on the wall, 7 year old was to open day 1 and was awake 5:30am all excited, going to a long 24 days till Xmas - do it all for the kids as they say "they grow up quick" and then they teenagers/adults

Pic taken at 8:45pm, no lights on in the house. Took the missus about 1 maybe 6 hours to set up.  9ft tall, takes up 2m x 2m of Bmx/scooter track, 1050 lights, totally fkn ridiculous, carnt even get a present under it unless it's a sheet of paper.
