Anyone got some first hand experinece with one of these? I need a new fridge fpr the camper and this looks OK for function, size and price. I have searched ang got a little info but nothing much from actual users of the product.
I started off with Nothing & still have most of it left.

I bought one second hand but am yet to use it other than having it plugged into 240v in the garage.
However the people I bought it off used it for a three month trip over some very rough terrain and trying conditions (CSR, ABH, Simpson, Tanami). They were very happy with it and it didn't miss a beat.
Given I was on the same trip my experience is sort of first hand.

i have a Primus 65 litre Mammoth dual zone. they are EXACTLY the same unit as the ironman, and when i say exactly the same i mean i was kicking myself when i bought the primus as the ironman one was $180 cheaper. anyway we'vw had ours for about 2 years and it has been faultless, freezing works well, seems to have a fairly low current draw, no complaints from us

Couldn't see a price of how much they are going for, but Techni Ice also now market fridge / freezers.  Not sure on their quality either but price looks ok.

The list price for the 65ltr dual zone seems to be $990, but I reckon they mitt discount at the 4wd show, well hoping so anyway.

They come with a 6 year warranty and at $859 are a good price, if it wasnt for the size i'd buy one, looking at the 60ltr instead for $200 less.

Ended up with the ironman 65ltr dual zone. I ran a bead of silicon alog all the internal joints as they aren't sealed and would take in any spillage. Plugged it in and out one side on -17 and the other on zero with compressor at max and it drew 3.6-3.9 amps, less than my 29ltr engel!!. Went back out and checked on it between 1 and 2 hours later and it was up to temp in both zones and drawing nothing. It looks like it will suit my needs for the camper well and it fits nicely with good access from the correct side. I will run it for a couple of weeks and try and get some data on how much it draws over time.
