We'll head over for a look on Saturday as well.

Nothing in particular that we need, but it's damn hard to leave empty handed ;D

Went today and was disappointed..

Not a lot of the accessory shops you would expect at a show...and the prices of the few things we did see were the same or dearer than a camping store !!

A lot of caravans though !!

Saw the MDC XT10........very good exact copy of the Lifestyle AT10...funny how the inside was almost identical as well....they must have taken lots of pics !! >:D

They have a new hard floor coming out soon as well.......another almost exact copy of the KK...maybe no one patents anything anymore ???

Good luck finding a park ???

I just looked at both sites. I see exactly what you mean. They look identical and nearly $20k difference. It would be interesting to see the difference in quality.

The MDC was showing 40K on the price tag and the Lifestyle AT10 Evo is approx 47K   ???

The Lifestyle on show was the AT12...bigger and dearer...I believe approx 55K...

To be honest, the MDC looked OK....just not sure why they had to copy someone else ??

KK have plenty of resources.......I hope MDC hasn't messed with someone who is prepared to see them in court ??

We had a fantastic show in Newcastle.

We sold 37 Camper trailers & a number of XT-10's over the 3 days, but sales were a little bit down on last years numbers ;(

It was great to have a lot of our previous customers drop by and tell us about their past and future trips with their MDC campers, and how they love the new XT-10. No doubt we'll see a few upgrades in years to come.

Some Pics of future MDC Happy Campers from the Show.

Happy Camping ;)

I must have missed something?

The thread is about the Newcastle expo, and MDC were just saying that they had a great show. I know they were an exhibitor, but they are also a Myswag member who wanted to share their positive experience.

I've read plenty of other threads on camping shows in the past where exhibitors have commented and not been accused of trying to sell their products.

I just don't see what the harm was here ???

You must of missed the post by MDC including Utube video [thankfully now removed] promoting their new [copy of another manufacturer]  camper climbing a dirt mound in the Vic Alps. Nothing to do with the Newcastle CCIA show.
