Newbie from Lake Macquarie
« on: February 13, 2014, 07:46:44 PM »
Hi Guys,
After reading the many great topics on this site I thought it was about time that I actually joined.
I do not currently own a CT but own a trailer that I'd like to convert into one. My lovely fiancé last year gave me the option of a trailer or motorbike for my birthday. Both options have been high on my wish list for some time now so I was pretty stoked when she told me this.

As you may of guessed i went with the trailer option and had a 8x5 trailer with 500mm sides, 3 jerry can holder (one will probably become a battery box later on). and a gas bottle holder made.
The only thing that I didn't think of when ordering it was actually specifying that I wanted it built on a RHS frame and not the 40x40x3 angle that they made it from.

From experience I know that  :worthles: and i'm not even sure if this is the right place to be posting my build. I will however as the transformation from trailer to camper trailer continues, will post photos on here.

Looking forward to actually talking to you guys.

Brett

Welcome to myswag Brett, go ahead and start a build thread. Don't forget to buy a raffle ticket, you might win a prize for the trailer :)

Welcome Brett, great to have you onboard.  Look forward to reading your build and travel adventures.  Ask heaps of questions, plenty of good advice and tips available here from swaggers who are full of.......................great ideas and experience.

What part of Lake Macquarie are you from?  The scarps family spend many years at Mannering Park and know the area reasonably well.
