O.k, It's all fitted up & looks the goods onece on the car. The fit on the car is as good as any Safari/Airtec that I've seen, eg, the way it follows the contours on the gaurd etc.
I reckon that the template is out, as I suspected, by around 4-5mm on three of the holes. Now I know some of you will say every vehicles different & the will be variations in build tolerences but the holes that were out were the ones on the gaurd, a fixed point so to speak. Every thing was triple checked for alignment prior to drilling.
After drilling everything & happy with the fit I pulled the whole gaurd off to clean all the swarf from the inner gaurd area & gave evrything a lick of paint & Lanotec whilst I had it off.
All in all a very easy install & the final product looks good.
Cheers, MIke.

Hey Mike,

Looks the good. Glad everything fitted up nicely!

That variance isn't actually too much. We've seen that much or more variance on chassis' let along bodies.

Hope you enjoy tackling some water now!

Cheers,

Matt
