Newbie to the forum
« on: October 15, 2013, 12:37:46 AM »
Hi there

I only bumbled across this forum in the last few weeks and have found it to be a wealth of information for the camper upgrade I'm planning.

We're currently towing a hand-made 7x4 camper with a simplicity single bogie suspension system. On top is a 25sqm tent with two annexes. I've got plenty of mods planned for it in the next few months.

The tug is currently a '95 Tdi300 Defender that's a pretty capable vehicle. She gets 12-12.5L/100km whether she's towing or not; but you don't get anywhere fast. She's been used for a fair few recovery tasks over the past few years and hasn't really let me down in any major way.

With 377,000k's on the clock, the deefer is due to go shortly though. I recently signed on the dotted line for an MY14 GLX-R Pajero with a bit of after market attached. It's due to be delivered sometime in the next week or so.

I'm looking forward to contributing a bit on here as I get to know the place

Cheers
