Pete & Jo Intro
« on: August 17, 2013, 04:38:06 PM »

Hi to all you interesting people
Since I have been lurking in this forum for some weeks now and know not one of you personally I thought I had better do the intro thing.
We are known to most of the people we call friends as Pete and Jo and ( What u See is what u get SC) is just that WYSIWUGSC. We currently live in Caloundra on the sunshine coast having been Queensland based since 1999. I believe that a picture says a thousand words so I have put a number of pics up in the album area should you wish you put a face to the name.

We have been on the tracks as often as we could over the last few years but time is always limited but hopefully from now on starting with the national meet we will be out and about more often. Earlier this year we returned to QLd after a year in Perth traveling via the South west coast from Perth crossing the Nullarbor and stopping in at the Eire peninsular before heading up through the High Country following the Murray and spending many happy hours in some fantastic camping spots along the way.

For the last 5 years we have owned a 2004 Lux crew cab that I with Jo’s help built pretty much from the ground up.  The rig can be seen in the photo area.  Link.  Recently we purchased a HZJ105R Land Cruiser which we hope will be better suited to the types of 4WDing we wish to undertake.
Well that about covers it other than to say that this forum appears to have a great mix of talent within it pages and I for one felt instantly at home.

We look forward to meeting as many of you as we can over time to come

Cheers and Beers
