Well, I've joined many Forums on the Web, but always kept an eye on the this regularly. So I figure after a post about attending Bathurst this year, I best introduce myself.
There's myself and the Bride (in our low to mid 30's) with 2 kids. We've got a Camper and love it. Since moving to the Mid-North of SA just over a year ago from Adelaide for a work promotion, it's confirmed our love of the outdoors. We get to look at the Flinders Ranges everyday from our offices and there's nothing better. Except building our house on acreage at the foothills.
Camping? Well we have all we need at our disposal. A 30 min to couple of hour drive and we've got all we need for a weekend. Forest, scrub and creeks. I have 4 rules when bush camping. In this order:
1. Crack open a beer (Coopers) before setting up the Camper
2. Make a Fire
3. No Games on Phones or handheld electronic games allowed
4.........and importantly......go for a walk and find sh*t to do.
Safe travels.
