Hi from Mt Dandenong
« on: December 19, 2013, 03:47:12 PM »
Hi

I think I have done this the wrong way round.  Oh well, that's me... Ar*e about.  I am Vic.  He is Ug (short for Ugly).  We used to have an Outback camper - Sturt which we sold when we moved to "Nanas Mountain".  Silly thing to do.  But hey now we get a new one. We have just ordered another Outback Camper.  This time the Tanami.

We were looking at caravans but pfft, just didn't have the room and were a bit airless.  Our tow vehicle is a 2012 Ti 550 Pathfinder that was brought with the intention of getting a van.

We loved the after sales service from the guys at Outback and they are only about 45 minutes away so we went back.

Only issue is we have to wait until Late Feb early March for it to be ready.   Now, that's gonna drag.

Oh well...  Nice to meet you all.

Vic.

Well Barrabart

Funny you should say that.
While we haven't been in to see them…  I think Ug has called them to ask a few questions and he has more now.

We used to have a spare wheel bag made by ruck sacker.  It was brilliant because it was just the right size to hold our chairs and other things.  We had a garage fire a few years ago and the bag was in there.  Anyhow they don't make them any more and the others are too small so he is thinking of going to outback and getting them to make him one.   PLUS.. he has some other things to ask them.  There is a list.  (Ug is big on lists).

Poor Outback Staff will cringe when they hear his voice by the time this camper is delivered.

Maybe, just maybe they might let it que jump!!!!
