Hi
« on: June 02, 2013, 05:20:54 PM »
New member who has finally taken the leap and joined a forum.

Have recently purchased a new Challenger LS manual to replace my 15y/o Forester with a view to more adventure. If the old subi could do Fraser Island then the Challenger should have no problem.

I must say after reports it would be agricultural, noisy and slow I am very pleased with my choice, love that car.Especially when it was 41K against 55K for a Prado.

Nothing behind it yet but leaning towards a hard floor camper, will be using the forum for advice.

Welcome aboard..

Please go to your local steel shop and buy some rhs etc and start making a camper trailer..

Challenger, last year i had some old friends follow me in a new challenger up to craigs hut and top of mt Stirling , they got the challenger up there and then down to kings hut and along the track through lots of river crossing and the challenger did the job easily..

Have fun with it..

Thanks Shutterbug, good to hear from another Challenger owner.

All I have done is fit a tow bar, used Haymen Reece as it looked neater then the factory.

Have no idea of a camper as yet however the Leisure Matters hard floor looks like good value. Any body have any  thoughts ?
