We still aren't sure mate. There is still allot of unknowns which is making everything difficult. That and everything seems to take such a long time.

That's the biggest issue in these cases nobody knows what comes next, and is where we are spoit in the big cities of having the ability to go straight to the children's hospitals. Keep at mate, be polite but insistent.  Albury base were very good to our little girl some 8-9 yrs ago although it was nothing as serious as this.
Here for a good time, not a long time!

Yes we finally have an update.
The infection is under control and looks like bub and mum can come home today. We are making an appointment for the heart specialist at RCH in melbourne. I have no idea when this will be, hopefully not too long.
If she gets another infection we will need to go straight down to RCH though, so fingers crossed that doesn't happen.
So all in all good news In a way, frustrating none the less though.

Thanks guys, I spent a few hours last night cuddled up to my little princess. I got more smiles from her then than we have in the last week or so. A few days of rest for mum and bubs over the long weekend and hopefully things will settle down until we have to go down to melbourne. Which means that my little man (2yo) is going to help me on the camper and 4wd this weekend I think :-)

Thanks Guys!!  ;D She is doing much better and finishing her bottles again.
Will be doing a road trip down to Melbourne in the next couple of weeks for the Heart Murmur. So plan to stay in Melbourne for a week or so at this point. Hopefully find some time to take the little man to the zoo and aquarium too.

Cheers

Yea, all the best mate. Hate reading these threads when it involves little ones being sick, well any one really but you know what I mean. You may have to bring the family to Broome for some R&R, that will help ;D

Evo

The new RCH will blow you away.  It's not like any other hospital you've ever seen.  It's designed to be an enjoyable place to visit and stay, particularly for kids.  They even have a massive aquarium and a meerkat enclosure.  A massive improvement on the old one

I live in Brunswick, the next suburb north, give me hoy if you need anything.
