Thanks for ya replies we still need to buy a new 4x4 always had toyota last one was a 79 series td ute but with two boys it just sat in the shed so sold it to pay the house off a bit more so now we need a new one just not sure which way to go. I did have a look at a nissan gu patrol and toyota 200 gxl td we will pick up the topaz early next year we are trying to plan our trip around oz we are thinking kimberly and top end of QLD and down to birdsville arfter that how knows.
