Folks,

I have noticed on my Swift that the two bed ends are starting to bow in the middle. They are rated for 350kg each.

Is this normal for the slide out beds?

Looking at your avatar picture, it is a recent model.
I have a 2007 and mine do not sag at all.
Is it the timber base or the frame itself?

Would it still be under warranty?

Hi, our newish to us 2001 Eagle has quite a sag in the front bed. Our beg has the join in the two peices of ply toward the body of the van, where as our neighbours similar vintage Swan has the join at the front, which happens to be pretty close to where the bed supports slot in. I was thinking that might be a bit of a fix, but I haven't attacked it yet.

Thats a good point Paulo, the join in mine is also nearest the support posts, furthest from the body of the van.
Could be a good idea to check yours.
