G'day from Sydney
« on: April 02, 2013, 09:08:52 AM »
Hi there, thought I'd take the time to introduce myself.

After an extended break from 4wding and camping while waiting for our kids to outgrow the taste testing phase of life, we've gone out and bought ourselves a GU and on Thursday placed an order on a Skamper Ranger.

The wife and I have been looking at sub $10k campers for a looooooong time, asking owners of campers where ever we met them what they thought or changed, regrets, etc. After lucking upon an issue of Campertrailer Australia (which I've never seen and cannot find again), it had a great review on these trailers. So we drove out to Penrith and had a look over them and laid down a deposit. Very impressed with what I saw.

So, I can't wait to pick everyone's brains on electrics, guards, mods, etc. as a whole we are really excited with the possibilities this trailer has for us noting the limited space the GU has with the drawers and fridge.

Richard.
