Firstly i hope the link works... a tree has been planted today as a memorial to the Cairns High Bus Crash on the Gillies Range back in 1987, for those who don't know, there were eight year 12 students killed that day....... for all locals, keep an eye out for it, call in, check on the tree, share a thought for the lives lost and those who lived on with the loss...... lets try to keep the tree alive, just like the memory of the lives lost back on that tragic day.
