Any one else having trouble with google chrome?

How many do you need on start up?

I'm currently starting up with 11 open tabs monitoring myswag (of course  ), kayak fishing, facebook, TV program searches, stuff I want to buy, ...

Lol that was just using it. (carried away on ebay)
on start up I have 3 open.

I bought a new laptop on Sunday with windows 8, my first foray into win8. I have been using IE10 on it since then but yesterday i tried to get into another forum to type in replies but the reply window wouldn't let me type into it, it was greyed out - very strange. So i downloaded chrome and ahhh... that's much better! Now using chrome and i can reply on that forum. IE10 didn't want to have a bar of it.

I've been using IE10 on here for few weeks now works well. what forum software was it?

Not sure, the forum doesn't display that info that i can see. Though i can tell you it's a popular forum with the stats showing 75311 members and 4122 currently online so i would assume that IE should be working fine. I have contacted the forum mods to see it they are aware of any issues. Chrome still working fine, IE10 still not allowing text in the message boxes. The operating system updates are up to date... but i'll double check anyway.

No unread post.

I am now having this issue with IE9 tonight. Click the Show Unread Posts since Last Visit button and nothing comes up

but if I go into each forum I can see the unread posts
