Where to for Aus Day long weekend
« on: December 11, 2012, 10:58:31 PM »
OK, I know we haven't had Chrissy yet but I am off over East and then to Hawaii for the start of 2013 so won't get away camping until the Aus Day long weekend. Just need some suggestions ...
Can possibly get away Friday morning but Friday afternoon at worst. Somewhere on the coast, a couple of hrs from Perth, camping not caravan park. Any ideas? Anyone interested in joining us?

Love weekend camping whenever we can in our 2002 Cub Spacematic (Transcontinental Pack) with the 80series LC. See you out there!! J

We're going to head off over the long weekend as well and will try and get away at sparrows on the Friday to beat some of the rush.
Good luck finding a spot within a couple of hours of Perth on the coast that's not jammmm packed.
We headed down to Parry Beach near Denmark last Aus. Day and that was very busy but  great all the same.
Not sure exactly where to at this point in time, but somewhere down south for sure. Maybe Banksia camp, Lake Jasper ??
Would be interested in joining a few swaggers if something pans out
