Full circle....
« on: December 05, 2012, 12:03:07 AM »
In 2000 we bought a new  O/B Jayco Flamingo that we pretty much lived in  with 2 kids for 2 years. Then ran a 4wd tour business in Broome for the next approx 7 years camping in tents , mozzie domes and swags....

Moved to Perth in 2009 and bought a Caviler Super Deluxe soft floor camper...been great however.....

Today with 4 kids in tow we just ordered a new O/B Jayco Swan as our needs seemed to have changed again.

My question is......" is the independent suspension a worthwhile option ????  or is the solid axle/leaf spring suitable "

Would love to hear from other Swaggers who have experience with one or the other....

Gday mate,
Have a look at this thread for some good info http://www.myswag.org/index.php?topic=1138.0
Personally I think the simple beam axle leaf sprung design is the way to go and you won't have to worry about alignment issues.
