TheTwin Cab LT Auto 4x4  list is $48k, which they are currently selling at $39990 drive away.

I reckon they will probably have a similar list price.

Carsales reckons "more than the Captiva", wich tops out at $43k for the "7"

I'll take mine as a red LT, with the LTZ projector headlights if you don't mind - 16" wheels and less chrome. Dealer can add the snorkel and tow pack. The factory bullbar doesn't really do it for me, but at least it's steel, with decently-upswept side wings, so is probably better than nothing.

Double-wishbone front suspension, 5 link solid rear - should go reasonably well off road. The front should have more articulation than the strut front end that I'm used to, anyway.

I'm coming around to these, the more I look at them.

Cheers!

Haven't driven one yet but I don't think the new-gen Isuzu/Holden has too much front travel; it has a very short upright and shorter upper and lower arms than the 05> Hilux, for instance.

It'll be interesting to see if Ford match this with the Ranger

Apparently Ford are bringing this to our shores

I was hoping it would look nicer in the flesh.

It does not.

Good spotting, by the way. Now go rinse your eyeballs out with bleach.

Thanks!

That hurt!!!

Now, it looks smaller than what I thought. Almost like a Subaru Tribeca

However...

gets the diesel engine
gets a live rear axle
gets low range
gets an auto
gets a ladder frame
gets a bloody nice price if it is $43k drive away

Saw another one today in the City, silver LX.

All I can say is that IMO they look much better in the flesh than the above image (windscreen distortion making it look narrow gutted?).  Actually looked very similar in size, perhaps a smidge bigger than a Pajero.

My Holden "contact" at one of the bigger Melb dealers says they are hot to trot with this one, and see the Paj and Prado as their main competitor.  I guess we shall see!
