800 trip reports in the last 12 months or there abouts
« on: November 04, 2012, 10:26:45 AM »
Amazing  ;D
Just went searching through the list of trips reports looking for some of my trip reports to collect into one bookmark, I'm blown away by the number of reports that have been posted in the past 12 months  :cup:
There are some 16 pages, 50 threads per page = 800 trips or close to it, about 2 a day are posted.
What an incredible wealth of knowledge this forum holds among it's members, who are willing to share their travels, good times and secrets.
Last year in August I asked what the road conditions were like from Yunta to Hawker, GU Rich answered my question with in 5 minutes of me posting the question. Cheers Mate  ;D
Just wanted to say Thanks to everyone for sharing and giving so freely of your wealth of information
Now back to searching for? One thing leads to another, which leads to another, who knows what I might find  ;D

It sure is Bunyip,
There is no other place like it  ;D
I spend hours reading trip reports, giving me ideas for how I can to do things better, love reading the camper trailer builds as well as what Swaggers have done to their vehicles. The tips and tricks that I have gained far out weighs what I have given back  :-[
The generosity that Swaggers have is simply breath taking at times.

Sadly, not one of them is mine...........

Nit yet gone anywhere of noteworthy,  one day maybe.............
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

We never use to go far when we first started camping, the more we camped, the more we got the BUG to travel further a field.
I read some of these trip reports and I'm envious, the places some members have gone is breathe taking. We are planning another trip, not as long as the last one of 6600km's(over a year in the planning and saving up for  ;D ), only 3420km's 14 days to Winton with my sister and her family to show our young boys, who will love to see the Lark Quarry dinosaur stampede, this isn't planned until July 2014 school holidays, and we try to get out and do a day trip somewhere once a month  :D
We've gottta have a plan, without a plan you're not going anywhere, this is what I keep telling myself  ;D
You'll get there one day, just have to make it happen, which you will.

Definitely the best forum around :cup:

Sure is  ;D
Second to none
